About Jocelyn Fullerton

Jocelyn is an independent perfumer and the creator of Cult of Scent; an artisan fragrance brand based in Sydney (since 2009).

Her short workshops on perfume and olfaction are both fun and technically informative and are unique in that the interests and stories of each group of people she teaches become a part of the guide for each session. Preferring to take a collaborative rather than didactic approach, she is happy to work with all levels of experience and this enriches the process for all involved. She loves to hear your fragrance stories, and will incorporate these into the session.

When not working with fragrances, Jocelyn may be found teaching Botany, Pharmacognosy, Chemistry, Herbal and Cosmetic manufacturing to Beauty, Naturopathic and Herbal medicine students.

It was a great class! I did really enjoy it! There were a lot of people (19) but there was a good vibe and everyone was able to create a different perfume under Jocelyn's guidance.

The teacher was really nice and super knowledgeable, she gave lots of great suggestions so everyone was happy with the perfume they went home with. I really enjoyed it, if it wasn't so expensive I would have booked myself in for another class. My only negative feedback is that there should be a cap on the number of people in the class as there was lot's of people so everyone had to wait a long time to get to speak with the teacher and the class ran an hour overtime (which is really only annoying because I came straight from work and hadn't eaten dinner, needless to say i was starving hahaha)
