About Roz Fenson

I have worked in kaleidoscope of creative industries from theatre, film, television, events and toy design for over 30 years. There is very little materials or techniques that I have not embraced. I love the challenge of seeing something and working out how to manufacture it.

In 2002,I retired from the corporate world to raise a family and to develop an art practice based on an ancient leather craft technique – “cuir boule”. My work was exhibited in galleries and exhibitions both in Australia and overseas, and was a popular catwalk accessory choice amongst fashion designers.

However, it was my love of sustainable living that began my journey of sharing knowledge through workshops and giving back to the community.

I wanted to share those holistic benefits I’d known all my life, that came from being able to retreat from the world, loose time and simply “be”.

I believe that the creative process is not only relaxing but empowering and that everyone has the potential to make beautiful things.

My workshops are like events. My role is not only to teach, but make sure that everyone feels that their experience has been worthwhile.
