ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Magdalena Franco was born in Poland, but moved to Australia with her mama when she was five years old. She’s been creative all her life and has a super soft spot for paper-related craftiness including but not limited to origami, creative art journalling, collage, paper-engineering, tissue-paper crafts and just about anything you can think of to do with paper and its various forms.
Better known as ‘Mags’ (those damn Polish names can be a tongue-twister), she wrote a craft blog for four years called The Craft Revival where she shared crafty happenings and wrote tutorials and DIY’s for her readers. She recently gave up blogging at The Craft Revival to focus on her business Unleash Creative – a travelling series of craft-based workshop events which have visited Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as well as a website of the same name which is quoted as “inspiring an online and IRL community of creatives”.
Collaborating with a variety of creative folks, Mags takes pride in sharing both hers and others’ creative skills with anyone interested to learn some mad new skills.
