In conjunction with the The Design Conference, Join Andy Wright (For The People), Jo Roca (For The People) and Aaron Green (Founder of Streamtime) to discover the process behind inventing and designing digital products, through a digital product design workshop – and hear how Streamtime was redefined and redesigned for 2016.
The workshop will provide insights into how to discover things that everyone knows, but that nobody addresses. It will teach the skill of invention and how to pick a problem and completely reinvent a solution. The workshop will also dive in the iteration process to learn how to quickly take in many different perspectives for a better outcome.
Walk away with the beginnings of that idea that could become your very own startup.
This FREE workshop is exclusively for Design Conference ticket holders ONLY. Please enter your TDC invoice number in the “special requests” field when you purchase your For The People workshop ticket.
ABOUT FOR THE PEOPLE
We’re for shaking things up.Disrupting industries, creating new markets and new companies. We’re for culture that fuels creativity and innovation. We help build trust and get teams to work harder and be happier.
We’re for new models, new theories, new ways of working for this century, not the last one. Our inspiration comes more from Silicon Valley than management and design textbooks. We’re for the potential and realisation of technology. We’re for closing the gap between technology use in your personal life vs your work life.
We’re for common-sense and brutal honesty. We’re for design — utility, magic and the power to shape radically better products and services. We’re for fighting the system that can’t adapt and the silos that can stop progress dead in its tracks.
ABOUT THE DESIGN CONFERENCE
Five years ago we started dreaming of designing an event experience, tailored to the creative industry. We envisioned world class speakers, incredible audio-visual production, interactive side-events and hands on learning opportunities. This is ultimately an event which provides a high-value experience for its audience, speakers, supporters and sponsors.
In 2011, we made our biggest step — the first. What we lacked in experience was overshadowed by our ability to deliver a unique event that people loved. The next 3 years were spent expanding the event into the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne, before returning our focus to our creative locale: Brisbane.
With four years under our belt, The Design Conference 2015 was delivered at the Brisbane Powerhouse, a world class venue in the heart of Brisbane. We were humbled by the positive feedback, which was perhaps best epitomised by Andy Wright, from ‘For The People’, who tweeted “…it was the best event I’ve ever been to…”
We cant wait for this years event. It will be a dream come true.
We love you Brisbane.
