Description

This course has been specifically designed for anyone who wants to give airbrushing a go, covering basic techniques, cleaning and working on two special effects, students will gain basic knowledge in this half day class and enjoy a fun few hours of tuition. This class is perfect for you and a friend to try airbrushing at a minimal expense and see if it's something that you would like to continue to learn.

You'll spend the morning learning basic airbrushing techniques including dots, lines, shading and special effects on paper including how to render a rock and space theme. All materials for the class will be provided, with the option to purchase airbrushing equipment at the end of the class.

ABOUT AIRBRUSH ASYLUM

Owner and Artist of Airbrush Asylum, Carsten Zehmisch has been a professional artist for more than 15 years. Picking up an airbrush for the first time in 1997, he knew that he had found his passion in life.

Working hard to perfect his craft completing various commissions for clients, he now specialises in producing custom art works on motorbikes, planes, cars, amongst many other unique custom projects.

In 2004, he won an honourable mention at the Summernats Airbrush Competition. In 2006, he was presented ‘Best Overall’ by legendary US Custom painter and founder of House of Kolor - Jon Kosmoski at Sydney’s MotorEx.

Carsten's award winning artworks have featured in numerous national and international magazines as well as having the privilege of hosting international artists Dru Blair and Mike Lavallee.

In 2012, Carsten was asked to airbrush with 18 of the worlds 'best' airbrush artists on the House of Kolor trade stand @ SEMA Las Vegas, Nevada. Carsten currently works closely with Iwata assisting them at numerous trade shows and events including Summernats and Meguiars MotorEx.

Carsten is highly recommended for his attention to detail and ability to produce photo realistic artworks and prides himself on delivering excellent customer service. He continues to strive to amaze his customers by producing mind blowing artworks and extending his vast knowledge to students and airbrush enthusiasts around the world.

We urge you to wear ‘old clothes’ as the paint will stain your clothing and we don’t want you to ruin your best outfit.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

REFUNDS

Work-Shop requires 72 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund. If you miss this window, earn some extra karma points and give your ticket to one of your buddies. The tickets are fully transferable. Email learn@work-shop.com.au to organise a refund.

CANCELLATIONS

We’ll do our darndest to run all scheduled classes, however, let’s face it… sometimes shit happens! Most of our classes must have a minimum of 5 participants before we can put them on. In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via email and entitled to a full refund or credit.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Work-Shop or organised by Work-Shop must agree to these terms and conditions.

  •  Any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property property brought into Work-Shop’s premises.

2.) PHOTO & VIDEO

I agree to give Work-Shop unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Work-Shop classes and events or on Work-Shop’s premises. (Don’t worry, we’ll only these use to show others how much of a rad time you’re having through social media, newsletters, blogs, website and general Work-Shop promo material)
