The silly season is upon us yet again! Join Brisbane based illustrator Lucinda Wolber for a beer and some art making fun in this 2 hour Aussie Chrissy Card making workshop.
Students will learn how to transfer a design onto paper using tracing techniques as well as Lucinda’s unique water colour style.
At the end of the class students will have completed one or more of their own Aussie Chrissy Cards to share with their friends and family this festive season. Students will also be able to use their new skills for their own individual drawing projects.
ABOUT LUCINDA WOLBER
Lucinda Wolber is an artist, illustrator and curator from Brisbane. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art / Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from Queensland College of Art in 2010. Currently she works as a High School Visual Arts teacher while making art and curating art events at Brisbane’s Southside Tea Room.
Her work has seen quite a transformation over the last couple of years, moving from mostly 3 dimensional dioramas to illustration. Working with ink and watercolour on paper, she aims to create a feeling of whimsy and reminiscence through her work.
Lucinda has been exhibiting in various group and solo shows around Brisbane and Melbourne since 2008.
