Learn to make your very own colourful ring dishes with polymer clay. Led by designer & maker, Therese Lyons of Ena & Albert, you will learn all the tips & tricks you need.
We'll make a few dishes each using two different techniques and also get creative with decorating the dishes with things like marbling, layering and making patterns. We'll look at a couple of ways to finish your dishes like varnishing & painting. The techniques are simple & fun and are only limited by your imagination.
Therese will guide you through each dish, giving you freedom to create something truly unique. She'll have examples to get you started and be there to help you if you need more inspiration.
These dishes are perfect for keeping jewellery in, knick knacks and for giving as gifts.
About Therese Lyons:
Ena & Albert maker, Therese Lyons, first got her hands on some polymer clay about 6 years ago. As a lifelong maker and textile degree graduate, she was always looking to the next medium to make colourful handmade objects with. It was love at first play with polymer clay, creating one of kind beads in different colours & shapes.
The Ena & Albert jewellery range came about in 2012 out of her initial experiments and have developed into a curated collection of uniquely colourful pieces with hand applied patterns & textures. She makes for all ages and all sizes, pieces that are the finishing touch or the centrepiece to an outfit. She's lost count at how many beads she's made but its firmly in the several hundreds of thousands now.
In 2015, she started teaching bead making classes with Work-Shop, something she was reluctant to do at first (due to nerves!), but has found its one of her very favourite things about her job now. Ena Makes DIY kits were launched in 2016 as a way to spread the joy of making even further. She is honest-to-goodness passionate about making and loves to encouage others to find a creative endeavor to suit them.

Work-Shop requires 48 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund or transfer. Refunds and transfers will not be processed if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the event commencing. If you do miss this window, earn some extra karma points and give your ticket to one of your buddies. For cancellations prior to the 48 hour cut off, email email@example.com to organise a refund or transfer.
We’ll do our darndest to run all scheduled classes, however, let’s face it… sometimes shit happens! Most of our classes must have a minimum of 5 participants before we can put them on. In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund or credit.
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Work-Shop or organised by Work-Shop must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
- Any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property property brought into Work-Shop’s premises.
- Any physical injuries sustained as a result of participating in any class or event organised by Work-Shop.
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Work-Shop.
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Work-Shop unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Work-Shop classes and events or on Work-Shop’s premises. (Don’t worry, we’ll only these use to show others how much of a rad time you’re having through social media, newsletters, blogs, website and general Work-Shop promo material)
