NamARTste explores CONSCIOUS CREATIVITY through the union of the Arts and the eight limbed path of Yoga
Our Yoga and Art series is designed to awaken and exercise your creativity through 60 minutes of yoga and 60 minutes of making. We’ve combined our favourite styles of Yoga with an array of artistic techniques and mediums to give you the ultimate taste of creative living.
In this Yoga & Art session, explore a watery world of colour as you reconnect with yourself through a delicious Yin yoga practice allowing the outside world to melt away as you become absorbed in process. We will then explore landscape watercolour painting and the connection between the inner and outer landscape.
This 2 hour session will include:
-60 minute Yin Yoga* Practice
-Watercolour Painting tutorial and practice
-Discussion about externalising the internal and how art draws out the subconscious
*Yin Yoga allows us to work deeply into the connective tissues of the body (fascia and myo-fascia) through extended holds between 2-7 minutes. Longer holds Increase circulation and release stagnant energy. Let go and restore with this deeply reflective and gentle practice, bringing the yang of our daily lives into balance and inviting us to fall into a deeper meditation practice. Suitable for all levels.

Love this experience! The yoga class was relaxing, well tought and the perfect way to start a Saturday! I'm not sure if painting come naturally to me but I loved the exposure to watercolour as a medium. I'd love to play with it some more and discover what it could mean and be to me.
It was an interesting combo, and staff were friendly as well. But I was expecting the watercolour session to be more instructive, for instance, a professional painter teach us some basic techniques.
