Description

Create something unique for yourself or personalise a gift for a friend! The art of leather stamping involves imprinting leather with metal stamps and a hammer or mallet to create a pattern, text or picture. In this hands-on class with Beth Newton, you will get the chance to experiment with stamping your own designs as well as learning the basics of cutting, shaping, staining and assembling your creations. And of course, at the end of the class you will take home a collection of your very own handmade pieces, such as luggage tags, key chains and bracelets!

ABOUT BETH NEWTON

Beth Newton has been stamping leather since she was old enough to use a hammer, learning skills from her dad in her back shed! She has always loved art and creating unique pieces with her own two hands, which along with practice, experimentation and lessons from her Dad, has helped grow and develop her skills. In 2014, Beth started her own business creating custom stamped leather pieces as well as teaching workshops so that others can also experience the fun of stamping leather and creating their own personalised pieces!

You can check out Beth's stunning handmade leather pieces on her website http://www.bethnewton.com/
