Fresh from delivering the Rhodes Poetry Retreat, an international program for the development of poets and their careers held on the island of Rhodes, Greece, Luka Lesson brings the core elements of this program to a special intensive held in conjunction with his national 'Living Artefact' tour.

For burgeoning poets through to experienced writers and performers, Luka Lesson's exercises, advice and insights offer a unique opportunity for creatives to learn more about the the intricacies of the chosen art form. From writing and creativity development, through to performance craft and valuable insight into different career trajectories, this is a workshop not to be missed!

ABOUT LUKA LESSON

Luka Lesson is an award winning slam poet, best selling poetry writer and hip hop performer. With over 10 years experience under his belt his work is taught in schools and universities around the world and he has performed globally across the United States, Europe, Asia and the Pacific. Best known for his work which critically dissects contemporary culture through the lens of traditional and popular archetypes, he has earned accolades from some of the world most prestigious poets and speakers such as Dr Cornel West, Taylor Mail and Shane Koyczan. Luka Lesson continues to push the boundaries of his art form with projects projects such as his latest multi-arts undertaking, the re-imagining of the Homeric Classic, The Odyssey.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

REFUNDS

Work-Shop requires 72 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund. If you miss this window, earn some extra karma points and give your ticket to one of your buddies. The tickets are fully transferable. Email learn@work-shop.com.au to organise a refund.

CANCELLATIONS

We’ll do our darndest to run all scheduled classes, however, let’s face it… sometimes shit happens! Most of our classes must have a minimum of 5 participants before we can put them on. In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via email and entitled to a full refund or credit.

Terms & Conditions

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Work-Shop or organised by Work-Shop must agree to these terms and conditions.

1.) LIABILITY WAIVER

  •  Any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property property brought into Work-Shop’s premises.
  • Any physical injuries sustained as a result of participating in any class or event organised by Work-Shop.

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Work-Shop.


2.) PHOTO & VIDEO

I agree to give Work-Shop unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Work-Shop classes and events or on Work-Shop’s premises. (Don’t worry, we’ll only these use to show others how much of a rad time you’re having through social media, newsletters, blogs, website and general Work-Shop promo material)
