Learn to grow a Mandala using simple lines with black ink.
A mandala (Sanskrit for circle) is a spiritual symbol found in many cultures around the world. The design or structure of a mandala symbolises a spiritual journey that resides within each of us. It is a spiritual guidance tool which aids in meditation practices, through healing, reflection, relaxation and balance of our mind, body and soul.
Create beautiful designs, with no drawing experience needed. Participants will be guided through the process to create their own unique monochrome mandala.
ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
My creative journey was sparked five years ago when I was lucky to spend time with some very creative people. I mentioned that I had always wanted to draw. The simple advice I received that day was enough. She told me to 'just start', without trying to get anywhere with it. I did. I have continued to learn and grow, and become more courageous. I now have my work displayed permanently in a small Community gallery in Cawongla. My love of nature and it's beauty combines with the art of Mandala drawings, for this I use black pens and paper. Simple lines can create intricate details. In this workshop we are going to Grow a Mandala from a tiny ‘seed’ and it is my hope that your creative side will also germinate!!
- Learn to grow a Mandala using simple lines with black ink.
- Create your own Mandala and cultivate mindfulness.
