Modern Macramé
Description
Learn the foundations of the ancient art of Macramé knotting to create your very own wall hanging to take home.
In this fun one-day workshop, children will be introduced to basic knot techniques with a contemporary twist. Experimenting with a range of twine and different yarns, we'll 'learn the ropes' of macramé design while crafting our very own unique creations.
Developing patterns and textures with our new knowledge of knot-tying, we'll add some creative expression through the application of beads and embellishments to finish things off.
Join us for a day of plaiting, twisting, weaving and knotting - and leave with a masterpiece to display at home!
