You’ll be introduced to the timeless techniques of Dorset button making and Yorkshire button making, learning how to craft and embellish your own beautiful buttons from scratch.
Whether you're into textile arts, costume, sustainable fashion, or simply love slow, meditative crafts — this workshop is a delightful way to add a personal touch to your handmade garments.
For the bold or speedy we may even get the opportunity to show you how we might embellish the buttons taking them from fab to glam.

Helen is a textile maker, dabbling in embroidery, lace making, spinning and weaving. She loves all things textile and will happily play with anything she can get my hands on. Helen loves lost trades and is committed to ensuring they are not lost. She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm with others so they too can get lost in the mystique.
