Weaving taster on a 4 shaft table loom

Have you wanted to know what it is like to weave on a shaft loom?

You might have woven on a frame loom, a rigid heddle and/or a knitter’s loom and wonder what it is like on a shaft loom.

This workshop is set up so you can have a try on a 4-shaft table loom, with warp already set up and ready to weave.

Really fun night. Didn't know one end of a loom from the other before we began. The teaching was easy to understand and we quickly got into weaving patterns. Very inspiring to quickly learn how to read a simple pattern and operate the table loom. Everyone made beautiful woven mats, so much variety in colour and pattern by all the participants. Highly recommend!
