Appropriate for
Students should have basic crochet skills and be familiar with increasing, decreasing and working in the front or back loops. Understanding how to read a basic crochet pattern would be useful.
What to bring
- 3mm, 3.5mm or 4mm crochet hook
- Smooth (non-fuzzy) DK yarn in colours and fibre of your choice - leftovers are fine!
- An idea of something you would like to design/make, and a notebook and pen for making your own notes/pattern

Steph has been a crafter since she learned to knit from her grandmother when she was seven years old. She is an experienced crocheter, spinner and weaver, and is fascinated by the whole process of textile production from sheep to finished garment. Steph sells her amigurumi at a monthly market stall, and is known for her distinctive colourful designs.
