Resin Art Workshop: Cheese Board and Coasters
Be prepared to start a brand new addiction in this introduction to resin pouring for beginners!
In this Sydney workshop, you will learn how to work safely with resin, prepare a workspace, mix correctly, colour with pigments and paint and pour onto decorative pieces. You will be guided on how to create gorgeous patterns using movement and heat.
Choose from a range of complementary colours and pigments and embellish with a range of stunning sparkles and glitters. By the end of the class, you will have a completed cheese board and a set of resin coasters ready to collect the next day (once the resin has cured).
This workshop is perfect if you're searching for creative things to do in Sydney or classy hens party ideas.
Please note:
- This workshop is for ages 16+ and not suitable if you are pregnant.
- Pieces require a minimum of 24 hours to set so will need to be picked up from the venue the following day/week.
- Engadine Venue- works can be picked up from the Tuesday onwards
- Boards are subject to availability and may be different from photos.
- We now have a stunning range of hand made camphour wooden boards as an option. If you would like to upgrade to one of these it is an extra $15. If you would like to see an image of these boards they are shown in our images above.

A beautiful space in Sydney's Inner West hosting all things creative for kids and adults. We can't wait to meet you!
We are passionate about providing exciting, vibrant and fun art experiences for adults and children aged 2 to 14.
We encourage creativity through our Sydney kids art classes, art themed birthday parties, school holiday and adult workshops and events.
Creative Corner Studio offers workshops for children and adults in a relaxed and welcoming environment. These classes are designed to tap into your imagination, nurture creativity and allow true creative freedom.
We are big believers in mindfulness and giving yourself time to switch off from the world for a few hours. The benefits of this are endless. Workshops are also a unique opportunity to meet new friends, bond with family and work mates and discover a new passion.
We offer everything from beginner to advanced. Come along and get messy with watercolours, acrylic paints, resin, clay, felting, tie dye, sewing and more!
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
- A refund can be requested 3 days before class starts. Free of charge.

CLASSES
- Holidays are run in accordance with public school terms.
- Absence from a class be can be made-up on one of the other class days, but must be within the same term.
- Punctuality is crucial. Students should be dropped off within 5 minutes of starting and finishing times, failure to do so may incur an additional fee.
- Doors may be locked during class for security reasons, and visits (including late/early drop off or pick ups) MUST be pre-organised.
- If your child has special needs, Jen must have a written description prior to enrolment being accepted.
- Jen reserves the right to refuse admission to any participant who poses a disciplinary problem or disrupts other students in their learning.
- Parents (or an allocated responsible adult) must be contactable at ALL times during class.
- If someone other than a parent or family member is likely to be picking up your child, Jen must be informed prior to the event.
- No responsibility will be taken for dirty clothes, however all children will be provided with an apron/smock during the class.
PHOTOGRAPHY
- Photographs of your child and their artwork may be taken during class for website or other advertising and publicity purposes.
- Jen reserves the right to publish any photographs of children working in class, and or artwork created by the students.
- If you do not wish for your child to be photographed, please inform Jen before the commencement of your child’s first class.
