We invite you to carve out some time in your week to explore your creativity in Gloworm Studio's calm and welcoming space. Make yourself a cup of tea or sip on some wine while getting lost in your own creative projects. This is an untutored class where you can bring in anything you have been working on or you can draw/paint using a changing array of plants/objects that we will provide you with. This class is suitable for anyone who wants to schedule in more time for themselves to build their painting/drawing skills. This class is run by professional illustrator Marianna Marx who will be available to offer advice and help with any aspect of your work. We will provide you will all materials including watercolour paper, watercolour paints, acrylic paints, pencils, charcoal and more.
You will have the option to paint or draw on our beautiful plant filled balcony when weather permits.
Spaces are limited to 10 people.

Gloworm Studios is a unique art school located in the heart of Fairfield. Led by professional illustrator Marianna Marx, our programs specialise in painting, drawing and illustration. Gloworm Studios is a warm and nurturing environment where artists both young and young at heart are invited to immerse themselves in their creativity and imagination.
Marianna Marx has taught art alongside her illustration career for the past 10 years. Her experiences include working in the education department at the De Young Museum in San Francisco, an artist residency at Caulfield Grammar School, one on one art tutoring for children and adults, after school art classes, corporate workshops and working alongside artists with intellectual disabilities. Marianna has taken insight from each of these experiences to create an art school of her own where she can share her love for creative expression with others in her local community.
