Alcohol Inks for Intermediates - Level 2
(+2 more dates)
Description
By popular demand, I've been getting more and more requests to come and play with bigger paper and bigger boards with Alcohol Inks. This is your chance. (Need to have finished my Beginners AI class first please.)
In this class, you'll play with gorgeous ink colours and create your own unique patterns and designs on black and white A3 Yupo paper as well as your own 40x40cm board!
Jenie will guide you through creating at least 6 separate fabulous Alcohol Ink masterpieces! You'll create 3 on A3 ink art pieces on white paper and one on A4 black Yupo paper and one on A4 silver paper and one on a 40cm x 40cm Board! You'll have so many stunning artworks to take home and hang on your wall or give to a loved one as a gift!
Please note:
- If you wish to complete a larger-sized board, (than the 40cm x 40cm board that is already included in this class) please contact Jenie at least two weeks prior to the class to arrange the materials. An additional cost will incur.
- Your final piece will need to be sealed before you can hang it on your wall.
- Products used contain denatured alcohol and 100 per cent Isopropyl. If you have been or may be affected by these products previously, you should consider using a filtered mask. You may bring your own masks if desired.

Getting here:
Car parks are surprisingly easy to find around our studios. We are on the intersection of Swan Street, and Bendigo Street, Richmond.
You can often park right outside - fortunately we are at the quiet end of Swan Street.
Remember there are Clearways in Swan Street, Richmond.
According to Google, there’s a 6-minute walk from Burnley Railway Station to 550 Swan Street (its 450 metres away).
Tram 70 stops a few metres from our front door.
Ring me when you get here if the downstairs door is locked, (mostly it opens automatically). My studio is upstairs so you need to be able to walk upstairs safely.
What to bring
- Just yourself and your enthusiasm!
- a friend to try this with - maybe?
- bring your own refreshments
What to wear
Please wear older clothes and or apron, its messy; also its smelly so be aware of that too!
Appropriate for
Alcohol Ink workshop, 30+ age group, Prerequesite is my Alchol Ink for Beginners.
I’m like a kid in a lolly shop. I am endlessly impressed and inspired – by the work of others, by colours and textures, by everything around me, man-made and natural!
There’s so much to see, to interpret into glass! I love it all. I love sharing it with everyone – that’s why I run workshops – it makes me happy and its my hope that some of this joy spills over to you.
Ultimately, I am sharing love. The love of life the joy of playing in my studio. Share it with me.
