Festive Fusing Fun for Everyone🎄
Description
🎄 Come and have some fun, enjoy the Festive Season and create something fabulous in fused glass.
During the workshop you will learn the basic skills required to cut art glass, we will talk about design for these small projects. There'll be samplers and templates to copy, just in case you need them.
I'll be offering you pink bubbly, crumbly shortbread and ridiculous music during the workshop. What's not to love?
You can build what you want that fits on one of our 30 x 30cm kiln shelves. You might want to make candle sconces and tree decorations, you might want to make a couple of Christmassy coasters and some modern art. You'll love this festive half day we spend together! Of course, you can come as many times as you like.
You don’t need to be artistic to make really lovely ornaments and handmade gifts for your friends and family. 🎄
You will love the 3 hours we spend creating your unique pieces of Christmas glassy decorations. 🎅 You don’t need to bring anything with you – this is perfect for absolute beginners. You can bring refreshments if you like. Come with your friends for a shared day out.
Your festive Christmas pieces will be ready for you to collect 10-14 days after the workshop. You'll be delighted to show off your finished fused glass goodies, during the Christmas season.
The cost of this workshop doesn't include dichroic glass, if you want to make something dichroic or large or complicated, please email me.
Everyone is welcome (over 18). You can come with your children or grandchildren, however, they'll be charged the same rate as you and need to be "supervised" by you. Please let me know if you are bringing under 18's.
You need to be able to stand securely on both feet for the best success in this class, especially as my studio is up an old set of stairs. Your goodies will be collected on or before December 20th, 2022. Otherwise they'll be donated to charity. I'll take your picture during this workshop, always let me know if you don't want this to happen. Please wear clothes that include some kind of sleeve like a t-shirt (not a tank top), and closed-toe shoes, (no thongs, no sandals that expose your toes). If you want to, you can wear your most fabulous Christmas outfit! 🎅
Everything is included except the tinsel!
🎄There are only a few dates available, so grab your seat and have some pre-Christmas creative fun. (The last workshop is on December 7th, 2022. )

I’m like a kid in a lolly shop. I am endlessly impressed and inspired – by the work of others, by colours and textures, by everything around me, man-made and natural!
There’s so much to see, to interpret into glass! I love it all. I love sharing it with everyone – that’s why I run workshops – it makes me happy and its my hope that some of this joy spills over to you.
Ultimately, I am sharing love. The love of life the joy of playing in my studio. Share it with me.
