WHAT IS MINDFULNESS?
The essence of mindfulness is being in the moment, being increasingly present and aware in the current situation, and observing external and internal stimuli with acceptance instead of judgement.

Mindful Inspiration's owner/therapist, Emma Dabb, uses an integrated approach to her counselling and psychotherapy. Although she strongly believes in the power of mindfulness, Emma also realises the benefits of other approaches and customises her therapy style to suit the unique needs of each client.

Some of the approaches used by Emma (but not limited to): CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Existentialism, Mindfulness, Client Centred Approach, ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy), Solution-Focus Therapy...

WHAT IS COUNSELLING?
Counselling deals with specific problems or changes.
eg/ depression, career challenges, relationship issues, grief, loss, trauma...etc

WHAT IS PSYCHOTHERAPY?
Psychotherapy is concerned with restructuring the personality or 'self'.
eg/ correcting maladaptive attitudes, emotions and behaviours which are causing psychological distress and dysfunction... (ie/repetition of patterns in your life which are not working for you)

WHAT IS COACHING?
There are many forms of coaching. Mindful Inspiration offers one-on-one personal coaching. In this form of coaching, it is a relationship between two people. Whereby the coach assists the client to achieve what ever they want, in all areas of their life (eg/ career, relationship, finances, personal growth, weight loss...etc). As your personal coach, I will assist you to identify where you are currently in your life, where you want to be and empowering you to close the gap between these two places. You will learn how to remove the road blocks (the cants and buts), learn to how to set goals and create empowering beliefs and attitudes which will take you in the direction of the best version of you...

WHERE CAN I FIND YOU?:
We can meet in person or have sessions via telephone or Skype. All methods of equally suitable to coaching.
I also work out of the Hartington Centre (24 Hartington Place, Northcote) so we can meet there too!
