Mindfulness with Dr. Walsh
About the teacher and the training
Dr. Walsh has been a mindfulness pioneer in Australia since the 1980’s and founded mindfulness.org.au in the early 2000's when mindfulness was relatively new Australia. He is also a respected psychiatrist, who practices at the Melbourne Clinic and Epworth Hospitals, and provides clinical supervision to other mindfulness practitioners. He has also taught at Melbourne University. Dr Walsh has trained with leading Western mindfulness figures such as Jon Kabatt Zinn, Mark Williams, Kristin Neff and Daniel Siegal.
Encouraged by his students and colleagues, he has developed a mindfulness resources and course designed for the general public to provide you with practical techniques, skills and ways of thinking to build resilience to deal with today’s rapidly changing and high pressure environment, as well as manageing stress, finding happiness in the ordinary, and improving your decision making, interpersonal, leadership and and creative problem solving skills (learn how mindfulness can help by clicking on "Why do Mindfulness" at mindfulness.org.au or visit our public resources at mindfulness.org.au/resources).
