Understanding the psychology of food is key and we will share our knowledge on all business aspects including planning, packaging, labelling, branding, website design and how you can do these simply and effectively yourself. We will then explore ways of taking your product to wholesalers, retailers and ultimately the customer.

The Presenter: Lorri Loca is a professional food consultant with over 25 years' experience in the food industry. Her experience spans all aspects of the industry including retail, restaurants, and event management and catering. She regularly provides consulting advice to leading chefs and restaurants, and has been pivotal in the start up of numerous food businesses throughout Australia.

A small business (kitchen) incubator offering services and space to get your new food business off the ground. Our aim is to create a place where new food businesses are nurtured to success in an environment of sharing and support.
Our clients include food producers making for their customers and retailers, trainers teaching others to cook, food companies running product familiarisation events and team building functions.
we provide advice and guidance on how to get your new business up and running - writing your business plan, setting up your food safety program and registration with the relevant authorities to create your food products (legally) and present them to the world. Referral to other small business supporters such as Accountants, Lawyers, IP Professionals and Food Technology and Packaging experts.
Refunds are available on cancellation of your place, up until the time tickets stop selling (usually two days before the class date).
Please note that we have minimum requirements for our classes to run effectively. If these numbers are not met, we reserve the right to cancel the class and offer a full refund or a transfer to another class.
Cancellations of class participants will be accepted up to two days before the class date. No refunds will be given if your place is cancelled within those two days.
