Seasonal Splendour: Four-week watercolour courses
Description
Welcome to our nature-inspired watercolour painting program, where we will be exploring the beauty of the natural world and it's changing colours through the use of watercolours.
May 26 - June 14: Autumn Leaves
June 30 - July 21: Winter Produce
September 1 - 22nd: Spring Flowers
November 3 - 24th: Summer Seaside
LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE (This course replaces our Level 2 watercolour course).
In each course we will focus on exploring specific seasonal topics based on the natural world, and create new colour palettes relevant to the subject.
Using the natural world as inspiration, you will be guided every step of the way as we explore a new subject each week. The class will begin with an introduction to the topic, and the colours we will be using. We will be covering a range of topics over the course of the year, including flowers, leaves, shells and sponges, birds and butterflies, fruit and vegetables, and other elements of the natural world.
This course is designed for intermediate level students who already have a basic understanding of watercolour techniques and are interested in exploring different subject matter, and new colour palettes. Throughout the course there will be practical demonstrations and the opportunity to ask questions.
Our experienced instructor will guide you, and at the end of each course, you will have a series of completed watercolours that showcase your skills and creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world and its beauty. We look forward to exploring the natural world with you through the beautiful medium of watercolour painting!
