Pink Ember is leaving our home on Ohea St for a new bigger cooler space in North Coburg!! More studios, more workshop, more exhibitions, more art for the queers of the north.
We wanna celebrate with u, say goodbye to our old space, and also help raise a little $$ for the move.

With your $15 ticket donation you can enter the raffle to win a six-week term voucher of beginner's wheel throwing!
Make some delicious pottery like the scene in Ghost but less erotic probably.
Every $5 you can chuck us gets you an extra entry into the raffle.

We ask you to wear a face mask indoors at the event to protect our immunocompromised community members, there will face masks available if you need. Please stay home if you’re feeling unwell.

Pink Ember Studio is a queer-run co-operative, creating spaces for artists to make work and be part of a community. We are a not-for-profit, encompassing workshops and classes to share skills in our community, a multimedia gallery space, and light filled open plan studio spaces.
We opened our doors in December 2018, and are striving towards making an exciting space in Coburg that supports artists and provides access to affordable art and learning opportunities. Concession rates are available for any First Nations folk who wish to partake in workshops.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 2 days before class starts. Free of charge.
- A transfer can be requested 2 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.

LIABILITY WAIVE - Pink Ember will not be responsible for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property brought into Pink Ember’s premises.
PHOTO & VIDEO - Pink Ember has unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Pink Ember classes and events or on Pink Ember’s premises. (Let us know on the day if you don’t want to be photographed)
AGE RESTRICTION - Currently our workshops are only available for participants over the age of 18
REFUNDS -
Online workshops with material kit-
For workshops containing a material kit, 9 days notice of cancellation before the class starts as bookings close 7 days ahead for delivery.
Physical and non-material kitted online workshops-
Pink Ember requires 48 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund/exchange. Please email pinkemberstudio@gmail.com to organise.
BEHAVIOUR - If a participant's behaviour is racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, abusive, violent, ableist threatening or discriminatory, Pink Ember has the right to ask such person/persons to leave the premises immediately.
Our part of the customer service policy
To provide a safe, clean, supportive, creative environment in which to learn and develop your craft from a variety of artists.
To provide individual attention as much as possible to each participant, making sure you are getting the most out of your workshop experience.
We will be on time and attentive
We will endeavor to respond to customer enquiries or complaints within 24 hours
If for any reason we have to cancel a class, we will provide the customer with a full refund or credit to attend another workshop.

If a customer requires an assistant such as a disability support worker, service dog, or sign language interpreter, they are welcome to bring them to the workshop without additional cost. If so, please let us know in advance via email pinkemberstudio@gmail.com
