Since 2019 starting in Tasmania, people have learned how to refurbish their old shabby shades and make gorgeous unique shades for their homes.

Recycling old shades and using recycled fabrics has inspired many people to learn this valuable skill.

Small groups work best and individual tuition inspires confidence in participants who may not have strong crafting skills.

We love the sense of achievement our participants get as they watch a piece of fabric they may have printed, sewn, embroidered or treasured come to life as a shade.

We have now run workshops in NSW, QLD, NT and Victoria. I even recently ran a few classes in Copenhagen, Denmark.  See pictures and all our reviews when you log into our website or visit our facebook page.

I completed one of Annie’s workshops in February in Sydney. It was half a day well spent with a lovely group of people and yummy food whilst creating a beautiful lampshade that now sits proudly in my guest room. Annie was an excellent instructor
