The theme for this fun morning is SUMMER! Beach, sea and surf in Surrey Hills these school holidays, no towel required!
"Like a cool summer breeze, let's dance barefoot across the beach, dip our toes in the water. Be still. Discover a shell and just listen." Karen, our creative dance & movement tutor, has prepared a lovely morning of movement to music with inspiration drawn from the lovely treasures we find at the beach.
During the morning, children will be grouped into two age groups and will alternate activities - a dance session and a creative art work session. Bring your imagination and be prepared for some creative messy fun. Walk away with your summer masterpiece.
Children are asked to bring a water bottle and snack for morning tea. Please wear comfortalbe clothes. Two age groups: 4-6 years and 7-10 years. All equipment and materials supplied.
Other school holiday programs at Surrey Hills NC: Lego Robo Champs on Thursdya 21 January and Tuesday 5 July, Japanese cooking for kids on Thursday 7 July, and a cartooning & writing workshop in September.
