Kokedamas (meaning 'moss ball' in Japanese) are a great way to add a touch of green in your home and make beautiful gifts that can last for many years. Bettina Tynan, from Leaf & Bear in Fitzroy, will take you through the art of making kokedamas, including step by step instructions, plant selection and tips for keeping your kokedama flourishing.
Participants will choose their own plants to create three of these adorable moss gardens to take home! All materials and instructions are provided.
About the tutor - Bettina Tynan @leafandbear
Bettina spent part of her childhood in Japan and loves all things Japanese. When she is not making kokedamas, you can no doubt find her and her dog playing in her indoor garden and dreaming of the next plants she will add to her collection.

Good tunes, good times
A great craft workshop is more than learning a new creative skill and making something yourself. It's about meeting friends, sharing laughs and having a fabulous day out. That's why our kids classes include treats and tunes to keep the creative juices flowing. And for our adult classes, we offer nibbles with tea, coffee, wine or bubbles - whatever takes your fancy.
