Still Life Mixed Media Illustration

Mixed media drawing & illustration Sarah Hankinson

Over 20 people have attended this class

Description

*Each participant will be gifted a 2024 Sarah Hankinson illustrated calendar

Sarah Hankinson, one of Australia’s leading  Illustrators, will demonstrate to you the skill and magic behind Illustration using a variety of mixed media including oil pastels, ink, charcoal and watercolour.

‘Introduction to Still Life Drawing’ is a workshop designed to guide you through illustration basics including what materials to use, how to mix colours and developing your own style within the various mediums on offer. This class is aimed at beginners who want a taster in drawing or intermediates who want a different take on their creative processes. In this class we will be creating a still life scene arranged in the centre of the table - each viewpoint slightly different. Sarah's practice blends traditional and non traditional approaches to still life drawing - no experience in drawing or illustration is required. The hope is that each participant will find their own way within the workshop, and have the confidence to go forward incorporating still life drawing into their daily lives.
