The pace of the class was good especially for a beginner like me and a lot of basic techniques taught. Laura was a great teacher and very patient with showing us the steps to put together the pieces of fabric. I would certainly recommend the class to anyone interested in learning to sew.

The intro to sewing class was fantastic! I now feel very well prepared to take on my own little projects, and look forward to attending further workshops at the Thread Den. Thanks very much, Danielle and Laura!

Sewing Basics Course for Beginners - 11 Jun 2017 10:00 AM

This class confirmed some things I already knew from years ago when I dabbled by my mothers foot collecting scraps of fabric by the sewing machine. It also cleared up some uncertainty in the basic use of a sewing machine. Overall, built my confidence to " have a go" and set my imagination on fire for where I can take my new skill set. It has re- ignited an old obsession for buying georgious fabric. This is a fun and practical ( not to mention classy) addiction to indulge for sure- I'm hooked! Thank you Thread Den
