Outdoor Family Yoga Class for Kids Aged 3 - 4

Pop-Up Family Yoga for Kids Ages 3 - 4

Fun yoga class with songs, stories & movement

AGE GROUP: Children ages 3 - 4 with the active participation and support of a parent/carer. Bookings for additional child or parent/carer is also available.

Family yoga is a great way for families to slow down and enjoy the benefits of yoga together. It’s a fun activity that can involve the whole family, helping to strengthen bonds between parent and child as well as siblings.

Family yoga classes are designed to engage the imagination of the child with the active participation and support of a parent or carer. Practising yoga, mindfulness and relaxation together helps to model the importance of health and well-being.

Yoga poses, partner work and breathing exercises will help your child improve their self-confidence, focus, strength and flexibility as well as nurture their mind-body awareness.

Fun games and engaging songs along with creative movements and storytelling will encourage everyone to express themselves with their voice and body.

Reflection and mindful activities will help families cultivate communication skills, emotional empathy and a deeper understanding of each other.

Bring your friends or make some new ones in a healthy and inclusive environment where all are welcome.

No previous yoga experience is required.

Come join us as we fly like a bird, roar like a lion and breathe like a butterfly.

*Please note that parents/carers attending are responsible for their children at all times

**Please note that this class requires a minimum number of bookings in order to run. If the class does not receive sufficient bookings, then the class will be cancelled and any bookings received will be fully refunded.

Your Teacher

Hi, I’m Ting, founder of Under the Sky Kids Yoga. I am passionate about creating spaces that bring together families and their children, where they can connect, slow down and spend quality time together through the practice of yoga and meditation. I am dedicated to helping children grow strong and healthy connections to themselves and to others.

As a child, I wanted to be many different things when I grew up, one of which was to become a presenter on ABC’s beloved children’s TV show Play School. Since those early days, I have had varied work experiences, volunteering in community theatre, including children’s plays, teaching kids English in Japan and more recently working as a bush playgroup facilitator with Eco Explorers across Melbourne’s beautiful nature spaces.

Supporting families coming together each week to make new friends and enjoy nature play outdoors has been a pleasure. Research has shown that being outdoors in nature reduces stress and anxiety and is good for our mental health which is one of the reasons why I strive to hold our yoga classes outdoors.

I also love to sing, write songs (which I use in class) and tell stories, so kids yoga is a wonderful creative outlet that brings me so much joy.

Family connections, community connections, mind-body connection and connection to our creative spirits. These connections are all part of my core purpose at Under the Sky Kids Yoga and I hope to connect with you and your family in one of our yoga classes.

Under the sky, let’s move, breathe and grow together.
