Vulcana invites you to participate in an exciting workshop program of circus, visual arts and poetry.
Over 10 weeks on Mondays 10 – 12pm
From 10 July – 11 September
(At Vulcana Arts Hub 420 Lytton Rd, Morningside)
$120 for the whole course (which is $12 per workshop)
This program is for you! And Circus is for Everyone.
You will have the opportunity to exchange your skills, reflect new experiences with paint, poetry and movement. You will meet people and be supported to try new things.
This project is delivered in partnership with Art for Your Heart, Art from the Margins and The Brotherhood of the Wordless.
Vulcana has successfully created accessible circus programs with Cerebral Palsy League and Access Arts that welcomed people to the possibilities and play of circus and supported their creative expression.

Here at Vulcana Women’s Circus, we run workshops for adults and kids and teens, and we develop community projects with all kinds of different communities, the focus always being on creativity and empowerment through circus. You can book us for gigs, workshops or hire our space at the Stores Studio, Brisbane Powerhouse.
Vulcana’s circus workshop and performance projects engage a broad range of community participants and work in partnership with arts and community organisations to create opportunities for cultural expression and community development. In a safe, playful space we encourage participants to be themselves with joy and push the boundaries of what is achievable as one or in a group.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
- A transfer can be requested anytime before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 2 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$20.00 applies.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
