Your Teacher

Milie trained as a graphic designer in the traditional manner and has always worked in fine detail. Her spiritual connection and passion for the natural world is the main feature of her work. She is inspired by the use of colour and patterns that exist in nature. The combination of these elements and the pleasure she gets from using ink has allowed her to explore using patterns intuitively and colour combinations that are at times vibrant. Milie often exaggerates colours seen in nature to produce works that are both colourful and unique.
