Buzzing Around

Suitable for children (3-8 years)

Over 20 people have attended this class

Description

Come along and discover the amazing life of bees these school holidays. This workshop is aimed at children 3 to 8 years old. Through dance, art, observation and play, children will discover how our friends the honey bees live their busy lives. We use a variety of props to help children understand how bees collect nectar, make wax and honey and look after their babies.

Everyone will learn the bees' famous waggle dance and get to plant a bee-friendly seed in a little biodegradable pot to take away with them.

Please note: Children will need to be accompanied by a supervising adult during the workshop. Only children attending the workshop need to purchase a ticket.
