Happy Hubbub is taking part in the Twilight Kindergarten Open Evening to answer these questions and more! Understand your options, and learn about Happy Hubbub's integrated and sessional kindergarten programs, as well as the on-site co-working options for parents.
Background Info
The Victorian Government provides funding to support children to access a high quality kindergarten program in the two years before they start school. The funding is a contribution towards meeting the cost of the kindergarten program.
Free Kinder
As well as the traditional kinder funding mentioned above, Happy Hubbub is participating in the Victorian Government’s Free Kinder funding, which means a saving for families of up to $2,500 per child, each year.
Integrated program
If your child attends a kindergarten program within a long day care setting (integrated kinder, which Hubbub offers Mon–Fri year-round), the Free Kinder subsidy offsets the kindergarten component of your out-of-pocket fees. This will provide a free program for some families and a significantly reduced cost for other families, depending on the number of days attended, and the amount of Commonwealth subsidy (CCS) received.
Sessional program
If your child attends a sessional kindergarten program, there are no out-of-pocket fees for the family. Sessional kinder is 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (following school terms), for a total of 600 hours of funded kinder.
Note: Happy Hubbub is offering a sessional kinder option: Thu/Fri, 9am–4.30pm.

Happy Hubbub is a local ‘work hub’ for people in Melbourne’s north, with a boutique on-site childcare facility.
The coworking space offers internet and printing/scanning facilities, hot-desking areas, meeting rooms, private offices and a communal kitchen with coffee machine.
The childcare is fully licensed long day care, allowing parents of young children to work in the coworking space with their children on-site, being looked after by qualified childcare professionals. Childcare may be booked on a permanent or casual basis, with full-day and half-day sessions available.

Meet Alessia:
Hi my name is Alessia and I am the Kindergarten Teacher at Happy Hubbub. I have completed a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education.
My focus is providing children with a safe and secure environment, building positive and nurturing relationships with children and collaborative relationships with families.
I believe that children are natural learners, who develop their understanding of the world through play and exploration. My approach is tailored to the specific learning needs and interests of each child.

You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

You may cancel anytime before class starts and claim a full refund or transfer or credit note.

Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Happy Hubbub or organised by Happy Hubbub must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Happy Hubbub.
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Happy Hubbub unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Happy Hubbub classes and events or on Happy Hubbub's premises. (For use of Happy Hubbub marketing materials).
3.) REFUNDS
Happy Hubbub requires 48 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund or transfer.
4.) CANCELLATIONS
In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund or credit.
