DID Someone Say Gin?

Gin is an important part of the Yarra Valley and our Yarra Valley Wine Tour. We have two options for gin tastings.

1. Wednesday – Sunday we visit Stag Lane Distillery where you can “opt in” to try 3 gins ($15 pp)
2. If you want to try some more you can “opt in” to try 4 locally distilled gins at the Gin Bar @ Rochford Estate. ($25 pp)

The gins are infused with wine and are distilled at a local distillery in Healesville using locally sourced ingredients.A must try for all gin lovers!

Convenient City Pick Up Location

• Our tours depart from the Ian Potter Centre on Flinders St @ Federation Square CBD. (opposite The Forum Theatre)
• You can’t miss our buses – they have Rick’s Wine Tours all over them!
• Bus arrives – 9:00 am Melbourne CBD
• Departs Melbourne – 9:15 am Melbourne CBD
• Returns Melbourne – 5:00 – 5:30 pm – Melbourne CBD
• The drop off point is in front of Ian Potter Centre Federation Square

Itinerary

Our Yarra Valley Itinerary changes at certain times of the year. The below itinerary is current from 1st August 2023.

• 8:50 am – Bus arrives – Ian Potter Centre  – Flinders St Melbourne CBD (opposite The Forum Theatre)
• 9:00 am – Bus Departs – Ian Potter Centre  – Flinders St Melbourne CBD (opposite The Forum Theatre)
• Scenic drive to the Yarra Valley with opportunities to spot kangaroos, koalas, wild birds and see the stunning Yarra and Dandenong Ranges. 
• 10:00 am – Yarra Farm Fresh – guided fruit tasting – includes strawberries!
• 10:45 am – St Hubert’s – 2 x tastings

1. A guided tasting of 4 premium wines in the cellar door
2. Guided tasting of 4 wines in Notes Wine Shop
3. Time to explore the Indigenous Art Gallery.
   
   

• Each adult will receive a bottle of wine to take home from St Hubert’s.
• 12:15 pm – Rochford Estate – a guided tasting of 4 wines followed by a gourmet lunch with a glass of wine. Enjoy 10% discount at the gift shop and on take away wine sales.
• 2:30 pm – Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery – a guided chocolate tasting experience of locally made chocolates followed by time to shop and explore.
• 3:30 pm – Yarra Valley Dairy – free time to shop
• 4:00 pm – Depart Yarra Valley
• 5:15 pm – Bus arrives Melbourne CBD
