Welcome to our Handmade Functional Clay Bowl Workshop!
Are you ready to embark on a journey of creativity and craftsmanship? In this workshop, you'll have the opportunity to craft your own set of two small bowls or one large bowl from clay using a variety of hand-building techniques that we'll teach you.
Whether you envision a set of small dipping bowls, a cozy Ramen bowl, or even a special bowl for your beloved pet, the choice is entirely yours. Throughout the workshop, you'll explore a range of techniques to customise your bowl to reflect your unique style and preferences. You can paint intricate designs using our selection of underglazes, experiment with our assortment of stamps, texture rollers, and shapes, or even carve intricate patterns to bring your bowls to life!
Once your creations are fired, we'll add a clear glaze to ensure that your bowls are both food and dishwasher-safe, making them not just beautiful, but also functional pieces for your home.
We provide everything you need to unleash your creativity and to keep your imaginative energy flowing, we'll also include tea, coffee, and cake for a delightful experience.

The Samford Potters Collective is a new custom-built pottery studio located just 25 km from the heart of Brisbane city and sits in the beautiful green hills of Camp Mountain (Samford).
We believe that pottery is a timeless craft that can be enjoyed by all. We offer a variety of workshops, weekly classes, and wheel classes for beginner to advanced levels, private events, and more. Our full-service pottery studio has everything you need to get started on your pottery journey.
We are passionate about creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for our students and members. Our team of experienced potters and instructors are always on hand to provide guidance and advice every step of the way.

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 3 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.
- A transfer can be requested 1 day before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.
- A credit note can be requested 3 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Samford Potters Collective or organised by Samford Potters Collective must agree to these terms and conditions.

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries, and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Samford Potters Collective
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Samford Potters Collective unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Samford Potters Collective classes and events or on Samford Potters Collective premises. (For use of Samford Potters Collective marketing materials). We will always respect your right to privacy - just let us know that you would like to be excluded from photos, videos, etc.
