Welcome to our Whimsical Owl Clay Workshop, where creativity takes flight!
Join us for a hands-on experience as you hand-build a charming clay owl, honing your skills under expert guidance. Learn the art of carving and customising your owl using specialised tools, infusing it with your unique style and personality. With vibrant underglazes, add bursts of colour to your creation, bringing it to life in vivid detail.
If you choose you can further customise your Owl by adding small holes for the flickering light to dance through and turn it into a tea light holder meaning your owl will exude even more whimsy and charm. Once dry, your masterpiece will receive a clear glaze, transforming it into a functional work of art.

The Samford Potters Collective is a new custom-built pottery studio located just 25 km from the heart of Brisbane city and sits in the beautiful green hills of Camp Mountain (Samford).
We believe that pottery is a timeless craft that can be enjoyed by all. We offer a variety of workshops, weekly classes, and wheel classes for beginner to advanced levels, private events, and more. Our full-service pottery studio has everything you need to get started on your pottery journey.
We are passionate about creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for our students and members. Our team of experienced potters and instructors are always on hand to provide guidance and advice every step of the way.

This workshop will be run by Nicole, who has over 20 years of teaching experience.
Nic brings a fun, inclusive, and whimsical energy to all of the workshops and is a very talented and passionate ceramist in her own time.

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 3 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.
- A transfer can be requested 1 day before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.
- A credit note can be requested 3 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Samford Potters Collective or organised by Samford Potters Collective must agree to these terms and conditions.

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries, and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Samford Potters Collective
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Samford Potters Collective unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Samford Potters Collective classes and events or on Samford Potters Collective premises. (For use of Samford Potters Collective marketing materials). We will always respect your right to privacy - just let us know that you would like to be excluded from photos, videos, etc.
