FLORAL DESIGN COURSE - New Course for 2025
Full Time
Duration: 4 Terms - 40 Weeks
2 Class days per week
Certified teachers/trainers- TAE 40122 (Training and assessment)
Study in our purpose-designed studio and learn the many aspects of floristry and the floral industry. MFS is located in Yarraville within the Santospirito Wholesale Flower precinct, together we are the perfect combination to introduce you to the world of flowers. Our location gives you the rare opportunity to engage directly with the wholesale industry, with all flowers and materials at your fingertips. Whether you are a school leaver entering the workforce or seeking a new direction in your career, Melbourne Flower School is here to guide you.
Our bespoke course will teach how to create stunning floral designs that will take you across the many facets of floristry. This is a hands on practical approach to floristry, learn sustainable floristry practices along with old school trusted techniques and mechanics to bring you full circle into the modern day floral industry we now see.
MFS can lead you to various pathways within the floral industry, including wedding and event flowers, working in a retail florist, studio florist, freelancing or creating your own business.
If you are passionate about flowers and creativity, there is no limit to what you can achieve.

Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A transfer can be requested 7 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 7 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Melbourne Flower School or organised by Melbourne Flower School must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Melbourne Flower School
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Melbourne Flower School unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Melbourne Flower School classes and events or on Melbourne Flower School premises. (For use of Melbourne Flower School marketing materials).
