Description
Lets start your journey of latte art with the right foundation.
To many coffee lovers, a beautiful pattern is the cherry on top of a delicious milk coffee. However, without the right guidance, pouring nice latte art can leave baristas shaking their heads in defeat and looking toward the black coffee menu instead.
We aim to teach you all of the key skills to improve your latte art, from getting consistently silky milk, to managing your movements and pouring correctly. .
Repetition is absolutely key for developing latte art skills, so this course places an emphasis on guided practice time.
You will learn about:
- Milk texturing.
- Pouring posture.
- Milk management for best results.
- Basic pouring techniques.
- Demonstration on a range of patterns from basic blobs and hearts all the way to more advanced tulips, rosettas, swans & trendy pours
- How best to continue your development outside of the class.
All classes are limited in numbers and held as private sessions to ensure safety and social distancing measures are respected.
Additional Needs:
Latte art sessions will be performed with dairy milk.

What to bring
- Feel free to bring your favourite milk jug if you would like to use it.
What to wear
Wear comfy shoes as you will be standing for the majority of this course.

It is recommended you complete our Beginner Barista Course first or have coffee making experience.

We source our green beans exclusively from Project Origin, Sasa Sestic's ethical green bean trading company. Sasa & his bean hunters travel the world continuously, engaging in direct trade with coffee farmers in order to provide fair income for them and quality control for the coffee . . . which benefits everyone.

Your Teacher
All ONA Coffee trainers are highly experienced in producing top quality coffee and are running courses designed by Victor Vu, Australian Latte Art Champion 2020-2021, 2024.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
You may cancel anytime before class starts and claim a full refund or transfer or credit note.
We recommend the refund upgrade option upon checkout in case you’re not able to attend the class. Learn more about refund upgrade option.
Terms & Conditions
Thank you for booking an ONA Coffee Barista Course or Gift Certificate.
If you find you are not available to attend the course you have booked, you are welcome to transfer to a different time and/ or date, pending availability. The transfer must be done at least 48 hours, prior to the course commencing. We can offer a refund (less booking fee) when more than 48 hours notice is provided & a refund is requested.
If you transfer or cancel 24-48 hours, prior to the course commencing, there will be a $25 transfer or cancellation fee.
If you find you are not available to attend the course you have booked and give us less than 24 hours notice, you no longer have the option to transfer to another course and will lose your full course fee.
All courses and gift certificates must be used within six months after the purchase date.
Please appreciate that ONA Coffee Barista Courses are very popular and booked 4-6 weeks in advance, if you transfer from a course, we need to fill your place. Thank you.
