Ever wondered how to use native plants inside your home? Terrariums are a great way to create a self contained ecosystem that can bring a little bit of our beautiful Australian landscape to you. 

This master class will focus on how to use plants from the Victorian sandbelt region to build a terrarium and you get to take home you own personally made glass terrarium. 

They are also a great and unique gift to give to your loved ones.

The base price includes the materials to make a small (8cm) terrarium.  You can upgrade to a medium terrarium (12cm) or large (15cm) via the Merchandise list on the right hand side of this page.

In the afternoon of the same day and at the same venue we are running a master class on "Creating an Underwater Native Plant Jararium". If you book both classes you can attend both classes for $80 ($40 per class). You will need to book each class by using the "2 class - Seed & Cutting" ticket option when booking your tickets.

Master Class Presenter - David Sparks

David has studied Ecology and Botany at the University of Queensland. He has had 6 years experience in ecological restoration and environmental education and has worked at St. Kilda Indigenous Nursery for over three years. He is currently also studying the Graduate Diploma in Adult education at RMIT.

If there are insufficient numbers for an event it may be cancelled or postponed. If this is the case, you will be notified and given the option of either a full refund or a transfer to a different SGA event of equivalent value.

Refunds will be issued for cancellations IF you give at least 10 days notice prior to the start date. Refunds will be net of any WeTeachMe booking fees and a A$10 refund administration fee.

Non-attendance

No refunds will be given for non-attendance.

Garden Tour Cancelations: Bookings for garden tours are considered final and no refunds will be issued for any cancellations. If you notify us up to 7 days before the scheduled time of the event, you may choose to transfer to another garden tour to attend at a later date. Any cancellations made after this cannot be transferred UNLESS we have interested people on a waiting list and so are considered a lost booking to you. You can have another person attend on your booking if you wish.
