What you can expect:
1. The Girl to Woman 4-day rites of passage camp provides a rich, transformative experience for girls as they step forward into healthy womanhood.
'Girl to Woman' develops new ways for girls to engage & connect with themselves, other and their mother or significant female, building a trusting relationship where things can be shared within new frameworks
The Girl to Woman Pathways program marks with intention the moment a young person steps from childhood into young adulthood.
Filled with much fun, gravitas and ceremony, the camp signifies a new dawning of change in the young adults' lives and those surrounding them.
2. Reunion Day. The opportunity for young people and adults alike to check back in three months
after the camp, to reconnect with the group that shared a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
3. Delicious and nourishing meals, snacks and drinks to be provided across all elements of the
program- you will not be hungry or disappointed!
4. A strong team employed through Trek Learning Centre who meet all child-safe requirements
and who have a wide range of qualifications in: teaching, psychology, therapeutic trauma
recovery, social work, mental health, facilitation and group work.
5. Significant support as you walk alongside & partner with your young person towards healthy
adulthood.
What you will learn
- Re-building play, connection and trust in important female relationships. Exploring healthy womanhood, belonging, relationships, stereotypes, mental & physical health, community, & social pressures.
- Evidence shows rites of passage provide a lost structure for young people to navigate from childhood to healthy adulthood, to know themselves, to match freedom with responsibility, find purpose & meaning in life, become more self-confident, and experience positive mental-health outcomes.
- Creating space for mothers to mark and honour the transition of their daughters from childhood to healthy young adults

- 4-Day experience where girls and mothers strengthen bonds; make peace with their bodies & cycles; develop trust in themselves; build healthy relationships; grow personal worth outside of societal pressures and celebrate girls stepping forward to young women

Our Pathways- Rites of Passage camps guide young people through a transition into young adulthood with their parent or significant adult, fostering resilience and self-discovery while helping them step toward responsibility and healthy choices.
Through our Reset program, young people experience 16 days off the grid developing vital life skills, connecting with nature, self and others, enhancing independence, and self-responsibility.
Our unique mental health initiatives and therapy sessions provide essential support, equipping our youth with coping strategies, empowering individuals to articulate their emotions and navigate everyday challenges through pottery and animal therapy.
Trek's bushcrafting workshops offer young people and families the opportunity to learn fire-lighting, native plant string making, shelter building and bush furniture utilising a wide range of native materials.
As a not-for-profit organization, we are dedicated to making these life-changing programs accessible to all families.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
- A transfer can be requested 30 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$150.00 applies.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Trek Learning Centre Ltd or organised by Trek Learning Centre Ltd must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Trek Learning Centre Ltd
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Trek Learning Centre Ltd unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Trek Learning Centre Ltd classes and events or on Trek Learning Centre Ltd premises. (For use of Trek Learning Centre Ltd marketing materials).
