Beginner Cyr Wheel for Adults
Description
Ever wanted to try Cyr?
Join us for this beginners session of Cyr Wheel where you will start with the basics of wheel handling and proceed to performing some cool tricks. We will mess around with your sense of balance, challenge your body to move in a way you never moved before and help you to improve all body strength.

- This class is led by Ludwig Schukin, an internationally recognized wheel gymnastics coach and circus artist with 30+ years of teaching and performing experience and the likes of Cirque du Soleil under his belt.

What to wear
wheelers to wear comfortable clothes and a fitted top as they go upside down your child will need canvas lace up shoes as they must be tight on your foot and have thin soles (we recommend shoes like Converse, indoor soccer or martial arts shoes)

Here at Vulcana Women’s Circus, we run workshops for adults and kids and teens, and we develop community projects with all kinds of different communities, the focus always being on creativity and empowerment through circus. You can book us for gigs, workshops or hire our space at the Stores Studio, Brisbane Powerhouse.
Vulcana’s circus workshop and performance projects engage a broad range of community participants and work in partnership with arts and community organisations to create opportunities for cultural expression and community development. In a safe, playful space we encourage participants to be themselves with joy and push the boundaries of what is achievable as one or in a group.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
- A transfer can be requested anytime before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 2 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$20.00 applies.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
