Marking Time and Place
Description
Guided by full time artist Neal Palmer, spend a weekend experimenting with your own individual mark-making and unique response to the local environment.
In this two-day painting workshop, we’ll work through ideas quickly, gathering reference from the expansive grounds at Corban Estate to draw in a variety of methods: en plein air, with paint, sketching and using photography to capture nature's details.
Our collection of small-scale iterations will act as the springboard for further development, adopting painting application techniques with a focus on the use of acrylics.
