Meditative Drawing with Natural Dyes

Meditative Drawing with Natural Dyes

With Vanessa Narbey

Description

Join us for a transformative workshop where you’ll learn meditative drawing techniques to unlock your creativity, find focus, and achieve a state of flow.

Led by artist and Master of Fine Arts graduate, Elam Vanessa Narbey, this workshop is designed to help you let go, surrender, and experience the joy of creating with greater flow.

Using natural dyes made from vegetables, teas, and juices, you’ll explore fluid lines, marks, textures, and patterns, layering dyes with a variety of other drawing materials.

Discover the therapeutic power of meditative drawing as you work through grief, pain, and creative blocks. Vanessa’s extensive teaching experience, specializing in intuitive abstraction and incorporating her knowledge of meditation and reiki into her art-making, will guide you through the process.

Don’t miss this opportunity to tap into your creativity and find inner peace through art.

It was such a pleasure to go to this workshop. It was so nice to play with such a unique range of art materials. Vanessa created a beautiful nurturing teaching environment where we were encouraged to play and try different things without the pressure of creating something perfect. I felt like I could just play and I didn’t have to perfect which was challenging for my inner critic in a good way. I came away feeling refreshed and nurtured. Thank you Vanessa for such a lovely experience.

This was a relaxing and approachable way to get yourself making marks on the page with no self judgement or pressure. It takes a while to warm up and then the next thing you know you're in the zone, moving from one surface and one idea to another. This has opened up a new way for me to get making.
