As a professional photographer, I am supposed to see Smart Phones as the ‘enemy’. But, as any photographer will tell you, the best camera you have is the one you have with you at the time. While digital SLRs may provide you with more flexibility and higher quality images, your Phone is invariably the camera you have on you ALL OF THE TIME!
So, and especially with the new Smart Phones having such great lenses, what can you do to get those professional-looking photos on your phone?
This workshop provides a full explanation and tricks of the trade when it comes to your Phone’s capabilities. It will also show you how to compose pictures like a pro, and the benefits of subtle editing.

After 30 years experience in photography, journalism, communications, customer service, consumer law and broadcasting, Colin Bushell established Bigger Boat Creative Solutions (incorporating Colin Bushell Photography) in 2011. The winner of the Lord Mayor’s Photographic Award in 2015, Colin spends up to three months of the year in search of photographic challenges around the world, working on assignments from as far afield as Hawaii, Italy, England, Arizona, Thailand and Germany. He also runs workshops and one-on-ones in photography, creative writing and feature writing; leads photography safaris around Queensland with fellow PPAQ professional Craig Stampfli, and is always on the lookout for the next big challenge.

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
You may cancel anytime before class starts and claim a full refund or transfer or credit note.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Colin Bushell Photography or organised by Colin Bushell Photography must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Colin Bushell Photography.
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Colin Bushell Photography unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Colin Bushell Photography classes and events or on Colin Bushell Photography's premises. (For use of Colin Bushell Photography marketing materials).
3.) REFUNDS
Colin Bushell Photography requires 48 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund or transfer (24 Hours for online workshops).
4.) CANCELLATIONS
In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund or credit.
