Wheel Class - Mixed Ability - Wed PM April/May
Description
We are delighted to offer a Wednesday evening course for those who would love to learn the wheel.
Whether you are a complete novice or an intermediate potter you'll find all the instruction you need to create or expand your skills.
Our beginners will learn the basics of creating functional items, mastering the wheel, centering the clay, pulling cylindrical forms, and attaching handles. Our intermediate potters will concentrate on gaining height, throwing with intention, and creating more complex work.
Whatever your ability, this mid-week workshop is just the ticket to celebrate hump day and inject some regular creativity into your week.
We will provide tea, coffee, and biscuits to keep you going throughout the evening.

The Samford Potters Collective is a new custom-built pottery studio located just 25 km from the heart of Brisbane city and sits in the beautiful green hills of Camp Mountain (Samford).
We believe that pottery is a timeless craft that can be enjoyed by all. We offer a variety of workshops, weekly classes, and wheel classes for beginner to advanced levels, private events, and more. Our full-service pottery studio has everything you need to get started on your pottery journey.

Your Teacher
Your instructor will be Maggie, who is one of the founders of our great studio and a very experienced teacher and ceramist.

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 3 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.
- A transfer can be requested 1 day before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.
- A credit note can be requested 3 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Samford Potters Collective or organised by Samford Potters Collective must agree to these terms and conditions.

I agree to give Samford Potters Collective unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Samford Potters Collective classes and events or on Samford Potters Collective premises. (For use of Samford Potters Collective marketing materials). We will always respect your right to privacy - just let us know that you would like to be excluded from photos, videos, etc.
