Character Pots: Unleash Your Creativity!
Join us for an exciting school holiday activity where you can craft your own unique character pot! Whether you’re into cute animals or scary monsters, this 2.5-hour workshop gives you the freedom to create a one-of-a-kind custom pot.
Start with a greenware pot, skillfully thrown on a wheel by our talented throwers, and transform it by adding noses, eyes, ears, and hair or anything else you can think of! You will then have time to choose a selection of underglazes to decorate and add vibrant colours to your creation.
Perfect for ages 12 and up, this workshop is ideal for young artists accompanied by a parent (though parents don’t have to participate, we bet you’ll want to join the fun!). We provide all materials, tools, and plenty of staff assistance to help bring your imagination to life.
Once dried & fired, we will contact you to come to collect your functional pot that can be used as a planter, a cup, or a charming gift for someone special.
Plus, enjoy tea, coffee, and biscuits to keep your creative energy flowing. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to get creative and have fun!

The Samford Potters Collective is a new custom-built pottery studio located just 25 km from the heart of Brisbane city and sits in the beautiful green hills of Camp Mountain (Samford).
We believe that pottery is a timeless craft that can be enjoyed by all. We offer a variety of workshops, weekly classes, and wheel classes for beginner to advanced levels, private events, and more. Our full-service pottery studio has everything you need to get started on your pottery journey.
We are passionate about creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for our students and members. Our team of experienced potters and instructors are always on hand to provide guidance and advice every step of the way.

Your Teacher
We are all about GETTING MESSY! and having fun while we do it.
There will be plenty of staff on hand to assist and ensure that you leave our studio feeling energised and relaxed having created something beautiful.
We demonstrate each step and will make sure your character pot comes to life.

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 3 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.
- A transfer can be requested 1 day before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.
- A credit note can be requested 3 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Samford Potters Collective or organised by Samford Potters Collective must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries, and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Samford Potters Collective
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Samford Potters Collective unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Samford Potters Collective classes and events or on Samford Potters Collective premises. (For use of Samford Potters Collective marketing materials). We will always respect your right to privacy - just let us know that you would like to be excluded from photos, videos, etc.
