Sarah Schembri welcomes you into her Fitzroy studio, where you are encouraged to delve into your creativity, trying your unique hand at Pottery.
Wheel & Wine workshops are a wonderful opportunity to relax, unwind and meet other like-minded people, right in the heart of Melbourne.
Sarah's studio welcomes individuals, groups, corporate teams and events to enjoy a grazing platter and a glass of wine over the 2-3 hour creative experience. There are no previous skills required, simply bring your authentic Self. Enjoyable, educational and fun.
There will be a maximum number of 20 people per workshop. There are 10 wheels, so 10 people will be on the wheel at any given time with a rotation.
*Price change for 2019 - this now includes all firing & glazing costs. The items you create on the day will be fired and glazed in the studio and available for collection approx. 2-3 weeks after your workshop date.

We understand that things happen and you need to cancel. So we can offer the spot to someone else please give us at least 7 days notice where we will happily transfer you to another date. Please note: If you need to transfer more than once there will be an $10 administration fee.
If you are unable to give 7 days notice, we will put you on a stand by list for attendance for future wheel & wine nights if other vacancies become available. Notification for attendance will be within 24 hours of the event.

- Grazing & wine provided – a selection of red, white and sparkling wines from Montara winery offered plus a lovely grazing table. Please note this is not your average grazing table so come hungry!
- Pieces made on the night can be collected at a later date once teacher has fired and glazed your items
Please also note, that if you are driving you cannot park on Kent St as it’s permit only, try St David St or Moor St.

Sarah Schembri is a Melbourne Ceramic Artist who is passionate about creating functional, tactile and visually appealing ceramics, particularly tableware. Being a lover of cooking and food in general, she is most interested in making pieces that are a pleasure to use in the home, pieces which are not only visually appealing but also functional & tactile.
