Description

Come and spend a slow  morning with us, setting the tone for your weekend,  creating a ceramic vase or planter with Daisy Cooper.   This workshop is a slightly different offering - shorter in duration, allowing time to concentrate your energies on one simple piece.  Daisy will guide you through the process to make a vase or planter and then you will choose from Daisy’s glazes to complete this unique piece.  Perfect Friday morning or Christmas catch up with a friend or family member.

Daisy Cooper’s hand built ceramic wares are reminiscent of times gone by - of a slower life where afternoons were spent meandering along the riverbank, gazing up at the native greenery, or of nights spent staring at the sparkly dust of the milky way.  After all, this is where Daisy gathers her inspiration for her much sought after range of hand made ceramics - growing up in rural Scotland, has kindly delivered such vivid memories, evident in her ‘river like’ glazes and speckly white plates seen the world over (Jamie Oliver has used Daisy’s work in his Food Revolution series - yes, Jamie Oliver!).

I had the loveliest time at the clay workshop. It felt like such a treat to play with clay in such a welcoming environment, with delicious Portuguese tarts! Daisy has a wonderful teaching style, very warm and patient and in such a short amount of time we all came away with such unique creations.

I loved this class! The physical environment is so welcoming (as were the Portuguese Tarts!!). Our hosts, Bel and Bree were friendly and encouraging. Daisy, our ceramics coach made the experience a very positive one. Our ‘masterpieces’ were craftfully explained and our efforts encouraged. Thank you for a wonderful morning ☺️
