08 November 2020 • How To Identify & Understand Fabrics

As a newbie to the world of sewing and dressmaking I found this course really valuable in understanding how to choose and care for fabrics. Megan was so incredibly knowledgeable about all the different fibres and fabrics as well as their history. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is interested in developing a deeper understanding of fabrics. Thank you!!

I really enjoyed this class. The teacher was engaging and the session was very informative. I'm relatively new to sewing and the class has really increased my appreciation and understanding of the history of fabrics and how to choose fabrics. Importantly for me, I learnt about how to care for different fabrics and the ethical considerations when purchasing fabrics. Small class size and welcoming - I would recommend.

Hi Ali,

The frustration has been felt from my end as well; Given your pounces on social media, abrupt emails, multiple suggestions that you could attend our workshops to blog about them, and your penchant to argue with teachers when you do attend workshops, I don't think Thread Den is the right place for you.
